In your GrillBackFeb 25, 2008Flood Gates Open?
For a while it seemed like the last trade for the 2008 NHL Trade Deadline was going to be Jim Vandermeer to Calgary for the Flames 2009 third-round pick...yikes! But thankfully action has picked up in the last few hours. Here's a little summary.
- Peter Forsberg signs a one-year deal with the Colorado Avalanche - Barret Jackman signs a four year extension with the St.Louis Blues - Vaclav Prospal traded to the Philadelphia Flyers for Alexandre Picard and a second or third round draft pick in 2009 - Dan Boyle signs a six year extension with the Tampa Bay Lightning With rumblings that Pavel Kubina might actually waive his no-trade, Brad Richards more than likely gone thanks to the Dan Boyle extension, Marian Hossa available and Brian Campbell's situation still up in the air, tomorrow looks like it will indeed turn out to be an eventful day in the NHL. Be sure to catch our NHL Trade Deadline review show tomorrow(Tuseday) night on both Sun TV at 11pm and Men TV at 10pm. Take off, Coco Comments:You want to respond to this article?
